Arm your vehicle in the app and the tracker watches the ignition. If it turns on while armed, the app sends a critical push alert to your phone.

On iPhone, critical alerts bypass silent mode — so a 3am ignition wakes you, not just your lock screen. Android receives the same push alerts.

Alert delivery depends on mobile network conditions, so timing can't be guaranteed — but seconds, not hours, is the difference this system is built for.

Choose how each vehicle is guarded. Arm it automatically on a daily schedule — overnight, for instance — leave it always on for round-the-clock monitoring, or arm it instantly from the map as you walk away.

Your choice sticks between app sessions, so a vehicle is never left unguarded by accident.

Whether or not your vehicle is armed, the tracker watches for the ways vehicles actually get taken — and alerts you within seconds.

Tow-away and jack-up detection fires if the vehicle moves with the ignition off. Signal-jamming detection uses the device's built-in jammer detection. A tamper alert fires the moment the tracker is unplugged from vehicle power. And if the device goes completely silent — a possible full jam or tamper — you get a "tracker went offline" alert.

With the Apex Pro Install package fitted, you can remotely disable your vehicle from the app, and re-enable it just as easily.

It's safety-gated on our servers: the cut engages only once the vehicle confirms it is stationary or moving slowly — never at speed. If the vehicle is parked or asleep, the immobilisation applies the moment your vehicle next connects.

Because immobilisation wires into the ignition circuit — usually the starter motor — the Pro Install tracker is professionally fitted by our installation partner RS Connect, included in the package price.

Immobilisation is exclusive to the Pro Install package — the Self-Install package covers every other feature but can't disable the vehicle.

Apex Tracking turns every journey into a driver score out of 100, banded from Excellent to Poor, so driving standards are clear at a glance — useful for family drivers and work vans alike.

The score is built from harsh braking, harsh acceleration, cornering and overspeeding, with a 30-day trend so you can watch it improve. A short run-in — around 50 miles of driving — is needed before the first score appears.

A rolling mileage chart shows how far each vehicle travels day by day, with daily and weekly totals and a days-driven count.

Alongside it, Apex Tracking estimates fuel cost in pounds using the vehicle's economy — your own MPG figure or its official DVLA CO₂ data — and a fuel price you set. Electric vehicles are recognised and left out of the fuel estimate.

Every Sunday evening, Apex Tracking emails a short summary for each vehicle — miles covered, trips made, harsh-driving events and battery health — so you stay in the loop without opening the app.
