Apex Tracking Order a tracker

Terms of use

Last updated: 24 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Apex Tracking Group Ltd ("we", "us"), covering your use of the Apex Tracking website and service and your purchase of Apex tracker packages. We're a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17001175); our registered office is 10 Greenhill Close, Tamworth, B77 1NA, United Kingdom, and you can email us at info@apex-tracking.co.uk. By creating an account, placing an order or using the service you accept these terms. The Apex Tracking app itself is licensed separately: on iOS under Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement and on Android under Google Play's terms.

The service

Apex Tracking provides GPS vehicle tracking, anti-theft alerts and related features through a mobile app connected to a tracking device fitted to your vehicle — self-installed, or professionally installed depending on the device. The service depends on mobile network coverage, GPS availability and the device being correctly installed and powered — we can't guarantee uninterrupted tracking, that every alert will be delivered in every circumstance, or how quickly an alert will arrive.

Where your tracker supports immobilisation (the Apex Pro Install package), the immobiliser cuts the vehicle's starter circuit only: a running engine keeps running, and once it's switched off the vehicle can't be restarted until it's released. This applies whether you immobilise it from the app, it immobilises itself after a theft alert (if you've switched that on) or it's outside the allowed hours you've set. If the tracker is asleep, it applies when the tracker next connects. It cannot stop a moving vehicle and must not be relied on to do so.

Lawful use

You may only use the service to track vehicles you own or have legal authority over. You must not use it to covertly track any person, including partners, family members or employees without a lawful basis. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to your use of tracking, and we may suspend or terminate accounts used unlawfully.

Subscriptions

  • Each vehicle runs on a monthly auto-renewing subscription of £8.99 per vehicle. There are no tiers — you pay £8.99 for each tracker you add.
  • The subscription is set up when you order a tracker. Your first month is free; billing then begins and renews monthly. Payment is taken by card and processed by our payment provider, Revolut.
  • Your subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel, which you can do anytime from your account at apex-tracking.co.uk/account.
  • When you cancel, the service continues until the end of the period you've paid for, then stops.

Buying a tracker package

These terms apply when you buy an Apex Self-Install or Apex Pro Install package from us. If you buy as a business rather than a consumer, the "Your right to cancel" section below does not apply.

Ordering and payment

  • You can buy the Apex Self-Install package directly through the secure online checkout on our website, or start any order with the enquiry form or a call to our enquiry line. Nothing is charged when you enquire — we reply by email with a secure payment link for the package price shown on our website at the time.
  • Payments are processed by Revolut. You give us your delivery address and contact details at checkout. We never see or store your full card details.
  • For Apex Pro Install we first confirm with our installation partner that a professional installation is possible on your vehicle. Every Pro Install order is accepted subject to that confirmation — if it turns out the hardware can't be installed on your vehicle, we'll refund you in full.
  • A contract is formed when we email you to confirm your order after payment. If we can't accept your order — for example because of a pricing error or stock issue — we'll tell you and refund anything you've paid.

Delivery and installation

  • Self-Install packages are ordered, configured and dispatched after payment and typically arrive within 3–5 days. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees — we'll let you know if there's a delay.
  • For Pro Install packages, our installation partner contacts you after payment to arrange the installation appointment (see the professional installation section below).
  • The hardware is your responsibility from delivery, and yours once we've received payment in full.

Your right to cancel (consumers)

  • You can cancel your order for any reason up to 14 days after the day you (or someone you nominate) receive the hardware. To cancel, email info@apex-tracking.co.uk with your name and order details before the deadline.
  • Return the hardware to us within 14 days of telling us you've cancelled. You're responsible for the cost of returning it and for taking reasonable care of it — we may reduce your refund if its value has been diminished by handling beyond what's needed to inspect it.
  • We'll refund you, including standard delivery, within 14 days of receiving the hardware back or proof that you've sent it.
  • If you book a Pro Install appointment within your 14-day cancellation period, you are expressly requesting that we begin the installation service during that period. If you cancel after the installation has been carried out, the installation service is complete and its cost is not refundable; the hardware remains returnable, but we don't cover the cost of removing it from your vehicle. Missed or late-cancelled appointments are charged as set out in the professional installation section.
  • Your statutory rights are not affected.

Faulty hardware

If your tracker is faulty, contact info@apex-tracking.co.uk. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you're entitled to reject faulty goods for a full refund within 30 days of delivery and, after that, to a repair or replacement. Installation labour on Pro Install packages is separately covered by RS Connect's one-year warranty.

SIM and connectivity

Each package includes the SIM and its connectivity for 3 years from activation. Before the 3 years end we'll contact you with options for continuing connectivity. The tracking service needs an active SIM and an active app subscription to work.

Professional installation (Apex Pro Install)

The Apex Pro Install package's tracker and immobilisation hardware are installed by our installation partner, RS Connect. Installation is included in the package price on the following terms:

  • The price includes travel to mainland UK and Northern Ireland (excluding the Scottish Highlands and UK islands) and attendance during standard working hours, Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00.
  • Installation outside these areas, or outside standard hours, may be available on request, subject to availability and an additional charge quoted in advance.
  • Cancellation charges: a cancellation charge equal to 100% of the installation cost applies if an appointment is cancelled within 24 hours (Monday to Friday) of its scheduled installation time or date, or if the engineer arrives on site and the vehicle or parts are not available.
  • The tracker and any parts supplied to you must be on site before the engineer arrives. Any unused or removed parts are left on site, unless otherwise specified.
  • All installation labour is covered by RS Connect's one-year warranty.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure — you're responsible for activity on your account. You must give accurate information and keep it up to date, and you must be at least 18 to subscribe.

Acceptable use

You must not attempt to interfere with the service, access other users' data, reverse engineer the app except where the law allows, or resell the service without our written agreement.

Liability

Apex Tracking is a monitoring aid, not a guarantee against theft. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss caused by events outside our control — including network outages, GPS interference, incorrect installation or theft of a tracked vehicle. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Changes and termination

We may update the service and these terms; if a change is material we'll give you reasonable notice in the app or by email. You can stop using the service at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
