Remote immobilisation on the Pro Install package lets you disable your vehicle from the app so it can't be driven off. It's safety-gated: the cut engages only once the vehicle confirms it is stationary or moving slowly — never at speed — and if the vehicle is parked or asleep it applies the moment it next connects.How immobilisation works

Which package is right for you?

Choose Apex Self-Install (£149.99) if…

You're protecting a motorbike, or mounting the tracker anywhere exposed to the weather. The weatherproof casing handles the elements, dual-band GPS gives positioning accurate to under 1.5 metres — and it arrives pre-configured, so installation is plug and play on the vehicle battery, then set up the app.

Choose Apex Pro Install (£249.99) if…

You want remote immobilisation on a car or van — the ability to disable your vehicle from the app so it can't be driven off. It's safety-gated: it engages only when the vehicle is stationary or moving slowly, never at speed, and if the vehicle is parked it applies the moment the tracker next connects. It's professionally fitted for you, and 2G fallback keeps it connected where 4G coverage is thin.

Installation

Pro installation, done properly

Because the Pro Install tracker wires into your vehicle's ignition circuit for immobilisation, it's fitted by a professional engineer from our installation partner, RS Connect — at your home or workplace.

    Installation is part of the £249.99 Apex Pro Install package — there's nothing extra to pay for a standard fitting.

  • Wherever you are

    Travel to mainland UK and Northern Ireland is included, excluding the Scottish Highlands and UK islands. Other areas and out-of-hours visits are available on request, at an additional charge.

  • Weekday appointments

    Standard appointments run Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00. Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or move one.

  • One-year warranty

    All RS Connect installation labour is covered by their one-year warranty.

  3. You're protected.Once paid, Self-Install trackers are ordered, configured and shipped — expect yours in 3–5 days, then fit it in minutes. For Pro Install, RS Connect will be in touch to arrange your fitting. Either way, finish by linking the tracker in the app.
